The purpose of this study was to respond Philologist arts practitionerââ?¬â?¢s statements, by\nexploring the performance of beneficial images of batik handicraft tourism in Yogyakarta. This\none year's quantitative research was conducted from July 2013 ââ?¬â?? July 2014 in Yogyakarta. The\ndata were collected randomly, stratified sampling, triangulation, and based on the content\nanalysis, by distributing 300 questionnaires to 100 respondents. This study found that batik\nhandicraft tourism performance has beneficial image strength for tourists. Itââ?¬â?¢s indicated that\nmost of the tourists consider going to Yogyakarta because of the beneficial impact of the City\nof the World Batik of Yogyakarta. Every part of the experience of tourists became very\nimportant and be a part of beneficial image attributes: a sense of place, infrastructure, culture,\ntypes and standards of service, and impressions. The main beneficial image of tourists about\nthe batik handicraft tourism: Social tourism become the first point which attracting the tourists;\nthe Uniqueness of batik handicraft, which expressing a philosophy and interpretation; the\nConditional; and the Emotional influence their decision.
